Many of you have asked many questions of me about my fall. So i will explain as best i can. first thing to know is i am acadian indian, first born to a war chief of the Abenaki Nation which is part of the acadian nation. I was on my dream quest (Iha Ble) which to my people is sacred. It must also be done alone.
So i was climbing alone because i must. A little about Iha Ble. On the first day you must fast no food for 24 hours before undertaking your Iha Ble. On the second day the quest begins. You climb to Han Bleceyapi (Cave of vision cry). This is where all the indian leaders and great men and woman of our tribe are. Thier ashes are placed here. This place is to us sacred. The most sacred of all places on this world. This is where your dreams are the future, they are what is and what will be. Your destiny so to speak. On the second day you climb to Han Bleceyapi and sleep in the cave where your dreams come and lead you into your future. On the third day you return down the mountain to home where the elders of my people gather to hear and inturpet your dreams.
The cave is about 5,700 feet up and has many vertical walls making it a tough climb. well i was on the third day part climbing down when the rock let away and my right side slip from me. I tried desperately to hold with my left hand but to no good. When my back slamed the rock face I sliped and fell. The fall was to take forever it seemed, but when it stoped i wished it was not stoped. I was in great pain. I did lose conciousness and woke in the hospital. A spirit friendly to me stayed with me, he is my Tehila. Distance of miles can not keep a spirit apart. I do believe that is what saved me because i thought for sure i was dead. I know you may still not understand but maybe it is clearer for you.
Thank you everyone for your kind wishes and thoughts and prayers. I love amaron and love you all.
